Fuels and Lubricants of Enniskillen, led by the experienced Jerry Lilly, has been a trusted name in the fuel haulage industry for nearly five decades. As a longstanding customer of SOS Sales Ltd, Jerry has relied on us for his fleet needs, having purchased trucks from us in the past.
In Spring 2024, Jerry reached out to James with a new request: two new trailers to enhance their in-house fuel haulage operations. With winter approaching, Jerry wanted to ensure that his fleet was fully prepared to meet the demands of the season. He required the units to be ready well before the cold weather set in.
We promptly provided Jerry with detailed specifications and availability for the required equipment. After thorough discussions, the deal was sealed, and we began working on the project. Understanding the importance of timely delivery, we collaborated closely with Jerry’s son, Brendan. We also assisted in designing a new company logo, which was proudly displayed on the trailers.
The trailers delivered were two GRW 42800L 6 compartments, perfectly tailored to meet Fuels and Lubricants’ specific needs. These trailers were to be paired with their newly acquired Scania R540 trucks, creating a robust and efficient combination for fuel transportation.
Although the initial target for delivery was September, our team’s commitment to excellence allowed us to complete the project ahead of schedule, delivering the trailers a full month early. The trailers were delivered and fitted with all necessary hoses and fittings at their Enniskillen yard, ensuring that Fuels and Lubricants were fully equipped for the winter season.

The combination of the Scania trucks and GRW trailers is truly special, and we’re excited to see them in action on the roads of Northern Ireland in the years to come.”
